We were established in 1947 after George Stafford and his son, George Stafford, set up a business for the manufacture of small fancy leathergoods to supply retailers. We became one of the first and most successful to diversify our business into importing a varied range of leathergoods and accessories.
Over time we discontinued all of our manufacturing in favour of working more closely with our core suppliers in Asia, building up strong and longstanding ties with them. This has enabled us to offer an extensive and varied range of merchandise which now includes belts, brollies, exec cases, handbags, purses, shopping trolleys, walking sticks and wallets. Our goods provide remarkable value and we hold in excess of €1mn stock to meet immediate demand from our valued customers.
George Stafford’s grandchildren now look after our business and with three great granddaughters involved, we hope to be around for some time to come!
